18 Players Register for 2012 Season Cody American Legion Player Baseball registration was held on January 9, 2012 and 18 players were registered. Returning players include Brent Brey, Taylor Hubbell, Cody Klass, Shad Moir, Chase Nelson, Conor Webster, and Walker Williams. New players this season include John Beaudrie, Trey Blough, Alec Dalton, Brock Goodwin, Brandon Hinze, Cap McClure, Taylor Newman, Kevin Page, Brennen Pollock, Seth Roberts, and Nick Schmidt. Each player is required to raise $1,000 to play American Legion Baseball and they will be out in the community raising money by selling raffle tickets, season passes, and hitters club memberships. All support is greatly appreciated!
Help Support the Cubs! - Raffle Tickets for Sale Cody American Legion Baseball will be selling raffle tickets for three items this season. One prize will be a 51 inch Samsung plasma TV that will be drawn for at the Dinner Dance Auctin in April. Tickets are also available for an 8gb iPod Touch and a Kindle Reader that will be drawn for at the last home game of the season against Powell. Tickets for each raffle are priced at $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. The Cubs will be selling the raffle tickets along with Season Passes and Hitter Club Memberships to aid in raising their money for the upcoming season.

Annual Meeting and Elections Held Cody Cubs Baseball held its annual meeting on September 8th, 2011. Katie McClure was elected to the board for a three year term. Katie is joined by returning board members Donny Anderson, Jeff Davis, Frank Schmidt, and Steve Webster. The Board would like to thank retiring board members Kent Nelson and Sylvia Roblyer for all their help over the years. Anyone interested in being a Cody American Legion Baseball Board Member please contact a member of the existing board.
Elections were held for 2011 officer positions at the October 6th meeting. Officers for the 2011 season will be President Donny Anderson, Vice President Katie McClure, Secretary Jeff Davis, and Treasurer Steve Webster.
Roblyer and Hubbell Earn All State Honors, Cubs Designate Individual Awards Devin Roblyer and Taylor Hubbell earned All State recognition for the 2011 season. Roblyer led the team in batting with a .432 average. He had 44 signles, 19 doubles, and 8 triples. He led the team in RBI`s with 52 and home runs with 9. Hubbell led the team in pitching with an ERA of 3.29. He threw a total of 68 innings in 14 games. Hubbell had a total of 53 singles and scored 63 runs with a .388 batting average.
Roblyer and Hubbell also earned season end awards for the Cubs. Roblyer was the top hitter and shared the MVP award with center fielder Tate Edwards. Hubbell and Conor Webster were chosen as Mr. Baseball and Andrew Bischoff was was awarded the most improved player.
Tate Edwards and Conor Webster will both be playing college baseball. Edwards will be going to Dickinson State to play football and baseball. Webster will be going to Miles City Community College. Both players plan to return next year to play for the Cubs.
